The Baroque church of St. Pankratius never served as the court chapel despite the architectural similarities with the palace. This is clearly evident once you step inside, as very little from the Baroque period has survived. Noteworthy are the main and side altars from the late 18th century with a collection of carved wood statues from different periods. Interesting to note is that the architect of the side altars attempted to reference the altars of the previous medieval church that he replaced with the location and themes of his composition. The frescos are from the 1920s.
